The Position
We are looking for experienced QA/QC Engineers to join and grow our R&D and Product engineering teams. The position will play an important role in assuring quality of OPSWAT cyber security technologies and products at highest level. As a member of team, you will be involved in every stage of the software development life cycle.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for both manual and automated test
- Analyze/ review product requirements
- Write/ review detailed test cases and perform testing basing on requirements
- Perform different types of testing: unit testing/whitebox testing, functional testing, exploratory testing, usability testing, regression testing, performance testing, security testing...
- Utilize and improve the existing test framework to implement automated tests
- Handle support escalation such as creating reproducible bug reports or help troubleshoot
- Report/ manage defects

Your Skills and Experience
What We Need From You
- Experience in software development with a good QA mindset
- Experience in working with Agile process
- Have understanding of how operating systems work. Experience in administering Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in writing automation using scripting languages (python, Bash shell), programming languages such as C/C++, GoLang, Java is a plus
- Quick learn new programming languages/scripting languages
- Know to use source version control (Git)
It Would Be Nice If You Have
- Background in software development and used to work as a developer
- System and/or network adminstration skills (MCP and/or LPI certificates are welcomed)
- Knowedge/understandings on system hooking techniques
- Cyber security domain experience, including file security, device security, network security and etc.. (CEH is welcomed)
