JOB DESCRIPTION:
System Engineers are responsible for operating and maintaining game service operation on any cloud or data center, keep services up 24/7. They also guarantee for all office IT system working smoothly and stably, including: office network, hard/software support, anti-virus, security and backup.
They have chances to be trained to become senior system admin with experience in programming, Linux and Cloud systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up server systems for live game services using Amazon Web Services or any cloud system and keep the services up 24/7;
• Guaranteeing all office IT systems working smoothly and stable, including company network, hardware/software installation, anti-virus software, print services, email, and other local systems;
• Offering users appropriate IT support and advice about any managed systems;
• Ensuring security including software licensing, VPN, and data;
• Monitoring and scheduling upgrades and security backups of hardware and software systems;
• Evaluating user requirements, system functionality and ensuring that infrastructure system meet these needs;
• Other project tasks as required by Manager of Infra team and Engineering Director.

REQUIREMENTS:
• University Degree;
• Understanding about Linux systems;
• Understanding about database administration, cache system (memcache, ehcache, redis, etc.);
• Background knowledge of Computer Science;
• Understanding in designing and implementing scalable software system;
• Team work spirit and ability of working individually;
• Willing to approach and update latest technologies;
• Good communication skills;
• At least 1 year of experience as a System Engineer;
• Good English or Japanese communication skills.

ADVANTAGES:
• Experiences with game operation on Amazon Cloud (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.);
• Familiar with Network, CCNA is preferred.
