Your Skills and Experience
Required experience
- Strong understanding of all Amazon AWS Cloud Services; Google Cloud Platform, Azure Cloud
- Experience and understand the concept of Web-Application and it’s related technologies/tools (nginx, COR, SOAP, Cloudflare, SSL, etc.)
- Experienced and worked with multiple Infrastructure as Code such as Cloud Formation/Terraform for AWS automation, an automated self-service platform in AWS (able to write and run CloudFormation documents, Terraform modules)
- Containerize Orchestration – Experience in container technology such as Docker (compose, swarm), Kubernetes (Google K8S, EKS, ingress, deployment , Helm, etc.)
- Configuration Management - at least 1 year experience in tools such as Puppet or Ansible for configuration management
- Strong experience in one or more scripting languages (PHP, Python, Ruby);
- Understands and can explain TDD;
- Extensive Linux operating system administration experience (fluent in shell, bash scripting, experienced in ubuntu/debian tools such as systemd, cron, top, etc.).
- Good at networking knowledge, at least 2 years experience in the field, able to troubleshoot and debug networking problems using common tools (e.g: tcpdump, nc, iptables, etc.)
- Experience in setting up and maintaining databases like MySQL, MongoDB (ElasticSearch or other NoSQL is a huge plus) and it’s relate concepts (replication, HA, backup and restore, indexing & query, caching)
- Worked with at least one Version Control Hierarchical and distributed code repository management tools like GIT (able to explain standard Gitflow, branch, deployment tags, etc.)
- Monitor systems such as Sentrysu, Nagios, Grafana, Graphite, InfluxDB...
- Experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD tools using Jenkins, CodePipeline, CircleCI, Teamcity, or others. Can write modules, playbooks for deployment, understand & able to use webhook, cron, auto trigger, environment variables during the deployment process
- Strong DevOps mindset and culture match (Calm, Cooperative, Problem-solving focus, no Ego, Trust and Respect)
Big Plus:
- Good negotiation and communication skills, able to explain fluently and convince others in technical.
- Knowledge about Computer Security, Application Security, and Security Standards & Best Practices, such as OWASP, ISO 27000, etc
- Advanced Database tuning and debugging skills (slow queries identification, performance tuning, security hardening, high-availability setup)
- AWS/GCP/Azure Certificates (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer, Security Specialty)
