System Administrators are responsible for the security and maintenance of assigned digital systems in the company. Additionally, they also assist development teams in investigating performance and stability issues.
• Experience testing and automating deployment of infrastructure.
• Develop modules for our configuration management system.
• Strong experience in AWS(Bucket, Mail, Cloudfront, Scaling, Load Balancing, API).
• Strong experience in writing Shell Script or Bash shell for automation tasks on Linux.
• Experience running large-scale web applications on modern platforms (Nginx, Apache, Tomcat, etc)
• Proficiency in Perl/Python /Ruby
• Ability to carry out monitoring and performance analysis using Nagios, Cacti, Munin, Ganglia Hyperic or others
• Ability in provisioning, maintaining, and optimizing Java web applications
• Experience with storage technologies e.g. SANs, iSCSI etc
• Ensure the security of our critical systems (physical as well as virtual).
• Monitoring, maintenance and optimization of such systems and assisting development teams in investigating performance and stability issues.
• Experience running mission-critical Linux production servers
• Experience with WAN networking technologies, e.g. routing protocols and VPNs
• Experience with hosted environments and remotely co-located systems
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
