Mission
● Develop high performance applications and services for listeners and audio creators tointeract with the Waves platform
● Main content categories:
- Podcasts
- Radio
- TV / reality shows (video media that can be consumed when audio only)
- Online Education
- Audio Livestream
- E-books, Audio-books
Key Responsibilities
● Senior Developer: Being a team lead; leading a team of developers (2-4) in Vietnam for adding new features to existing mobile app code and bug fixing
● App features will include: User authentication, RSS feed ingestion, Audio streaming, Ratings and Reviews
● Future app features will include: Video live streaming, incentive + reward programs
● Writing clear and maintainable code
● Work in a high-growth, fast-paced environment where you will contribute to the decision making process.

Your Skills and Experience
Requirements
● Fluent in Vietnamese
● Proficient in English, enough to interact with management and key team members
● At least 2 year of experience developing mobile applications (iOS, Android, React Native)
● Have to understand React Native architecture and cycle life native both platforms.
● Have knowledge about some patterns.
● At least 1 year of experience developing in React Native
● Server-side / Middleware experience (REST API services, microservices)
● Strong working experience and best practices with React Native libs, React Component, AsyncStorage, Redux
● Performance optimization
Good to have
● Understanding of UI and UX principles and experience with app design
● Interest in audio, such as music, playing instruments, audio / video editing, making podcasts, audiobooks; essentially anything related to audio is a big plus for us
● Prior startup experience - and desire to operate in high growth, fast paced environments
● Experience with app publishing, such as working with Apple store’s publishing (& testflight), and Google play store publishing

We are building a super app for all things audio: audiobooks, podcasts, online education, and entertainment, with a focus on local language content. We are looking for talented and enthusiastic core team members to join on our adventure.
