Your Skills and Experience
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of software engineers to ensure the completion of tasks and projects
- Collaborate with a geographically dispersed team and stakeholders and work closely with head of development on daily basis
- Understand business domain and participate in full life-cycle for software development projects inclusive of requirement gathering, analysis, development, testing and issue resolution activities
- Provide technical leadership for every aspect of the software development and participating in analyzing, estimating, reviewing and revising software requirements
- Exercise independent judgment and discretion in overall project management by prioritizing, planning, tracking project progress and reporting to stakeholders
- Develop team members by coaching, facilitating career aspirations and providing growth opportunities, and monitor team members' progress
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- 6-10 years of relevant experience in enterprise applications preferably in Java
- 2-3 years of experience in leading/managing small teams
- Strong experience as a developer prior to management roles
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle, Agile principle
- Good command of English, able to communicate internally by both verbal and written English
- High energy, motivated team player, able to effectively lead across functions and teams to drive projects and key initiatives to completion
