As the Engineering Manager at this pioneering technology start-up you will head up a small team, including task planning, code reviews and development as well as staff development, enabling continual learning emerging technologies.
- Design, develop, curate, implement, and manage ReactJS web apps + Python/Django backend services for the production and pre-release environments;
- Lead and mentor engineers to achieve a greater level of programming skill
- Participate in Agile software development with development teams to build scalable microservices-based products
- Working closely with Product Manager to find solutions, solving business problems.
- Understand the requirements of the user or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this

Your Skills and Experience
- Must have superb communication skills with writing, presentation and express ideas to others. Excellent in team working and collaboration in cross functional teams with fast growing product company
- Experience architecting, developing and deploying modern architectural patterns/techniques (microservices, DDD, TDD ...)
- Experience as a Principal Fullstack (ReactJS, Python/Django) developer in a complex, large scale, high traffic web applications
- 5+ years professional software development experience
- 2+ years of experience leading an engineering team
- Strong knowledge in modern CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. GitLab, Ansible, Jenkins, Gulp, NPM) is a BIG PLUS
- Experience in leading and coaching at least one software engineering team on various projects
- Solid experience in designing & developing RESTful APIs and microservices-based system
- Solid experience in modern front-end build pipelines and tools (e.g. Git, Webpack, Gulp, NPM)
