Job Overview:
The Senior Cognos TM1 Developer is responsible for supporting the SCC TM1 Centre of Excellence on the IBM Cognos TM1 10.2 environment.

Responsibilities and Duties:
- Developing and expanding existing TM1 Cubes for Budgeting, Forecasting and Actual reporting across SCC EMEA.
- Develop and set up financial reports, reporting solutions and appropriate cubes and interfaces.

Qualifications and Skills:
- Strength in development and modelling background using Cognos TM1 with a minimum of 5 years development experience.
- Advanced knowledge of OLAP.
- Enterprise TM1 skills including, Advanced TM1 rules and Turbo Integrator experience, as well as ODBC connectivity.
- Experience of TM1 Contributor and Applications
- Knowledge of Cognos BI, utilizing the BI Studios to enhance reporting beyond the excel add-ins would be beneficial.
- Using perspectives and/or Cognos BI for report building.
- Examine the components of a TM1 model.
- Create dimensions
- Build cubes and views
- Load and maintain data
- Add and optimise business rules
- Transfer data into the model
- Customize drill paths.
- Use rules for advanced modelling.
- Convert currencies.
- Model for different fiscal requirements.
- Deploy TM1 applications to the Web.
- Integrate with IBM Cognos BI.
- Experience implementing and/or supporting a shared system.
- The individual will be able to participate as an effective team member on implementation projects with all key stakeholders.
- Intermediate to advanced competency with Microsoft Excel.
- Good English language skills, written and verbal.
- Professional Accountancy qualifications or experience would be advantageous.
- IBM Cognos TM1 Developer Certifications.
