This Security Analyst role will be working with our IT Services Team in District 2, Ho Chi Minh City.

The Role

Reporting to the Global IT Security and Operations Manager based in Australia, the successful applicant will be an integral part of our IT Services Team responsible for monitoring of Hansen’s computer networks for security issues, installing security software, and documenting any security issues or breaches found. This will be achieved through effective planning and implementation of security measures to protect Hansen’s security function as set out by the IT Services Leadership team and the CISO.

What you will be doing

This role will see you take on a range of tasks including:

• Monitor Networks and Firewalls - conduct periodic networks monitoring and intrusion detection analysis to determine if there have been any attacks on the network or systems; Analyse network traffic to identify anomalies and test the information security controls for weaknesses; Periodic Firewall Rules review.
• Manage Hansen IT Service Management queue for Global Security – Service requests, Incidents and Change management; Security Incident Management - If malicious activity has been detected in the system, take mitigating actions to contain the activity and minimize damage. They may also facilitate forensics analysis to determine the source of the threat.
• Design and Implement Safeguards - design and implement new safeguards to protect the Hansen environment. Establish plans and protocols to protect digital files and information systems against unauthorized access, modification and/or destruction.
• Research Emerging Threats the latest IT security trends - stay on top of emerging threats and vulnerabilities in IT security. Conduct research, and attend conferences, professional association meetings and technical symposia to gain awareness of the latest information security technological developments.
• Perform vulnerability testing remediation, risk analysis and security assessments. Execute ongoing continual security improvements program identifying key areas of security concern across all Hansen environment and provide guidance and objective setting for teams to remediation.
• Daily management tasks of reviewing performance and tweaks for Security Monitoring, Web filtering, Data Loss Prevention, Endpoint protection, Multifactor Authentication, Email filtering.
