We are a small and passionate company who are experiencing strong growth from global customers. You will be joining the organisation at an early stage, and there will be significant opportunities to grow professionally and personally as the team and business grows.
We develop and support a software platform called FlowStep.
FlowStep helps government and enterprise customers design, build and manage high quality digital services, using modern software practices.
FlowStep provides an API first framework for agile software development.
APIs are at the core of everything we do.
You will:
- Understanding of RESTful API.
- A sound knowledge of the Swagger and OpenAPI frameworks is important, as is a
- knowledge of tools like Postman , Swagger Editor or other API related tools.
- Be responsible for helping support, maintain and enhance the existing platform.
- Be responsible for designing, building and testing new features that are built on
- proven technologies that use repeatable patterns to ensure they are secure and scalable.

Your Skills and Experience
We are looking for:
- Write clean and testable code
- Self motivated
- Considerate and supportive of team mates
- Familiarity with various design and architectural patterns
- Willing to work on different aspects of software development.
Must have
- Excellent written and spoken english communication skills - you will be working with native english speakers
- Great attention to detail to create pixel perfect screens
- Strong skills in frontend technologies (HTML, CSS and JS)
- Responsive skills (Bootstrap / Material UI / Tailwind CSS etc)
- JavaScript frameworks (Vue / React / TypeScript / Angular etc)
- Write clean, semantic and testable code
- Integrate web APIs (REST and GraphQL)
- Self motivated
- Considerate and supportive of team mates
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Willing to collaborate on different aspects of software development
- Are a dedicated, professional and intelligent person with a “can do” attitude
Nice to have
- Knowledge of RESTful API design
- Experience writing Unit/Integration test
- Experience with TDD/BDD, Writing good unit/integration tests
- Familiar with Swagger 2 / OpenAPI Specification 3
- Familiar with JSON Schema / Protobuf
