This Quality Assurance Engineer role will be based in our HO CHI MINH CITY, VIETNAM office.
The purpose of the role will be to develop manual as well as automated test cases for our Customer Care and Billing Application that is being used around the world.
What you will be doing
You will work directly in a Scrum team a QA with Engineers and Product Owner and some activities as below:
- Work together with other Quality Assurance (QA) and engineers in the Scrum team to assess product problems and brainstorm solutions.
- Work closely with the Product Owner to help them develop user stories and their detailed acceptance criteria and help provide feedback based on testing experience and end user's point of view.
- Contribute to continuous improvement and quality of the testing process.
- Contribute to estimation, planning, and prioritizing testing activities.
- Participate in estimating stories
- Work directly with engineers to troubleshoot potential problem areas.
- Develop and Execute Manual Test Cases.
- Provide bug reports to the development team.
- Write scripts to execute test cases for API testing.
- Design and implementation test harnesses in C#.
- Create, use, and maintain test harnesses in NUnit.
- Familiar with web technologies and programming (Html, IIS, web services)
- Analyze incidents for other Departments.
- Execute the build release process.
- Reviews all data obtained during all testing activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures
- Research functionality and implementation of current and futures testing techniques and technologies.

Your Skills and Experience
As a team player, you will work well independently and utilize your technical knowledge with hands-on experience in the analysis, design, and debugging of programs. Beside your English communicate with the global team, you also must have some experience as below:
- Developing test cases, test procedures, test scripts, and test reports and doing the hands-on implementation of those plans at least 3+ years
- Hands-on experience with:
- SQL (Structured Query Language)
- C#
- Windows client and server OS
- IIS (Internet Information Server)
- Writing NUnit or Microsoft Test
- Test-Driven Development
- Oracle
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor degree (B.S.) or equivalent (preferred), and 3 to 4 years related experience
