We are looking for experienced Software Engineer to join our Automotive Development team. Our team is responsible for creating next-generation connected Car Infotainment products. HERE’S A LITTLE TASTE OF YOUR DAILY CHALLENGE:
- Develop Platform (middle-ware) based on an open source project (C/C++)
- Work directly with German customer and communicate with OSS community (GitHub)
- Handling requests regarding issue and new features for the software (via Jira/ RTC)
- Debug and maintain the software running on target device via network TCP/IP or serial cable
- Unit testing for the feature
- Have chance to travel to Germany for business purpose

Your Skills and Experience
A great Software Engineer at BOSCH can’t be defined. There is no one way to go about the work, and everyone is different.
But to be successful in this role, this is the kind of profile we have in mind:
- Experience in Linux embedded software development (C/ C++)
- Major in Computer Engineering or equivalent
- Have experience in programming Embedded C++ applications with strong background in C++ inheritance, templates and pointers.
- Design methodology using OOAD & UML
- Strong in OS concepts like efficient multi-threading and resource-sharing, memory management
- Embedded development tools and methodologies
- Strong debugging skills
- Nice to have GitHub contribution/ experience.
- Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team and independently
- Good English communication.

This engineering development center will be engaged in developing embedded systems and software, mechanical design and simulation, and will provide IT (SAP Consulting, JAVA Development….) and Business Services (Finance and accounting, Economics, Purchasing, Logistics, Translations Japanese-English-Japanese, Information Security ) solutions to the Bosch group of companies globally.
