Our client is one of the International Universities in Ho Chi Minh City and are looking for a Network Administrator. As such the Network Administrator will provide expertise and service excellence to planning, monitoring, supporting and integrating network and security related systems or opportunities for improvement in work practices. This role requires extensive experience and expertise to resolve issues and identify opportunities to improve processes, contribute to service delivery, support senior staff in network planning, efficiency and provide preventative maintenance.

• Actively perform administrative functions of network, telephony, and security services including software licenses are current, asset monitoring, routine maintenance, disaster recovery, recovery management and supporting change or incident process.

• Handle the day to day operational deliverables of assisting end users with network, telephony or security related problems or enquiries including technical issues with connectivity, performance, and adhering to policy standards.

• Identify risks or gaps for improvement and collaborate effectively with Senior Staff, other teams to ensure the best solution is delivered.

• Integrating, supporting, and maintaining network, and telephony infrastructure.

• Monitoring and supporting LAN/WAN/WIFI to provide effective, reliable and secure transport of communication.

• Have an active role in liaising with vendors and partner for any preventative maintenance activity.

• Ready to work overtime onsite and take on-call 24/7 shift whenever there is demand.

• Other duties as required by IT Infrastructure Manager.

1. Bachelor degree in Computer Science or similar discipline.

2. Minimum 4 years’ experience in network administrator position or equivalent;

3. Able to build and sustain relationships at all levels, but particularly with senior business and IT stakeholders.

4. Able to work independently and display appropriate initiative as well as work effectively as part of a team. Provide conceptual analysis and problem-solving skills.

5. Demonstrated experience in exercising IT services delivery like incident management, problem management and change management in a wide range of systems; large corporate IT environment experiences.

6. Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing large corporate network with more than 500 workstations and multi sites / locations; experience in managing VoIP system and related systems for monitoring and billing.

7. Demonstrated experience in deploying and managing wireless system (Radius/TACACS), WAN, routing/switching, proxy/shaping devices, MPLS/VPLS technologies and VPN services for site-to-site and remote access for users including vendor types such as Cisco, Avaya and HP/Aruba.

8. Demonstrated knowledge of Unified Communications integration and the ability to effectively interpret and utilise Network Monitoring tools.
