Job Purpose/Summary
The DevOps Engineer has good experience in IT technology and cloud-based software services. This position provides infrastructure support for Appvity’s cloud products and internal IT operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for Appvity application hosting operations on Azure with emphasis on performance, security, availability, scalability and cost optimization.
- Participate as a team member of the Product Management group to deploy and support eTask Web application.
- Responsible for maintain internal communication infrastructure, including routers, ISP modems, and WIFI hot spots.
- Provide technical supports for internal computers and servers. Maintain virtual server’s environment for development purposes.
- Perform upgrade and patch (WSUS) systems as necessary to assure on-premises IT system integrity and security.
- Recommend and implement strategies for operational improvement.

Your Skills and Experience
- BSEE, MIS or other relevant technical degree required
- Minimum 1-2 years' experience in IT Operations experience
- Experience in network/system administration and security in a Windows environment. Active Directory skills is required.
- Experience with Office 365 and SharePoint online preferred.
- Knowledge of Azure is a plus.
- Ability to thrive in a small organization and contribute to the company’s success
- Ability to work independently with little direct supervision
Working conditions
- Should be willing to work in a variety of settings as needed. Flexible to work long hours and weekend as required.
