Personify, founded in 2009, a Vietnam + USA + Taiwan company, is the world's foremost immersive video technology company where we build amazing applications. Using deep image processing, computer vision and machine learning know-how, Personify is redefining the way people communicate with video. Personify's technologies enable people to immerse themselves into a shared virtual space, using a virtual image or video background.
We are experts in real time image and video segmentation; background subtraction and blurring; user extraction and user's component detection; 3D volume reconstruction and will not be limited to this list.
As part of PersonifyR&D team, you will contribute to the development and improvement of our core algorithms / SDKs. Those core algorithms / SDKs will be used in existing products, such as ChromaCam (www.chromacam.me) and Presenter (www.personifyinc.com) and ConX apps (www.conxme.com) and beyond to provide better and more personal way for people to interact with each other using video which serving 150,000 users worldwide and counting!

Your Skills and Experience
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Analyze and formulate industrial needs into solvable problems and solve them.
- Research, invent and improve patentable algorithms in our cutting-edge research projects.
- Convert research ideas into high-quality production code.
- Follow planning from leader and requirements from product owners, convert them into deliverables.
- Cooperate and teamwork to make it a solid group and best in R&D domain in Vietnam!
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree, 5 years experience. MS or PhD degree is a strong plus.
- Ability to lead a team and being familiar with Agile methodology is a plus.
- Passion in doing research.
- Excellent in troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
- Good experience in end-to-end quality software development process
- Fluent in practical English.
- Good team player and quick learner.
TECHNICAL QUALIFICATIONS:
- Solid with C++/C++11 STL, boost, opencv, cmake, OOP and software design patterns.
- Strong in algorithm.
- Experienced in code optimizations, design of large software, multithreading and asynchronous concepts, cross platform development.
- Experience in GPU parallel programming (CUDA, OpenCL, Metal 2) is a plus.
- Experience in Image/Video processing and Computer Vision or Machine Learning or Deep Learning (AI) is a plus.
- Ability to understand and implement scientific papers
- Familiar with Python and/or Matlab is a plus.
