We are looking for the Software Architect (ReactJS/NodeJS) position who can help us to build the OTT platform (POPS app). The candidate is required to have experience of microservices architecture and cloud-based solution approach such as GCP or AWS. He / She needs to be able to design and develop technical solutions together with the team, ensure the team can deliver in both features and non-feature requirements (e.g. performant, scalable, maintainable, flexible, etc.) He / She needs to coach and train team members to improve the productivity and raise the team’s quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop & implement architect on identified technology such as for web apps and backend services for delivering both features and non-feature requirements for our OTT platform.
- Support leading and mentoring engineers to achieve a greater level of programming skill
- Participate in Agile software development with development teams to build scalable microservices-based products
- Collaborates with product stakeholders to understand the requirements of the business and serve as subject matter expert on technology applicable to develop applications and solutions
- Understand the requirements of the user or business and utilize this knowledge to develop applications that are consistent with this
- Analyze current technologies used within the company and determine ways to improve. Presents and defends architectural, design, and technical choices to support our technology goals
- Develops high quality code that follows industry standard best practices and considers performance and resiliency.
- Manage and create actions plans for possible project challenges on constraints including, risks, time, resources and scope
- Work closely with cross functional teams to successfully monitor progress of initiatives
- Define clear goals for all aspects of the product and manage their proper execution
- Perform expected results in a team-oriented culture through delivering a significant individual contribution while collaborating with and strengthening teammates

Your Skills and Experience
- At least 10 years experience of working in software development, and more than 3 years in the Software Architect position.
- Have experience of developing web and mobile applications. Can provide solutions for high performance and scalability architecture.
- Have experience of microservices architecture, and container platform such as Kubernetes, OpenShift.
- Have experienced of Frontend (ReactJS, JS, HTML5 / CSS 3), Mobile (iOS, Android, React Native), Backend (NodeJS, Java, Go), Database (MongoDB, Cassandra), Web Server (Nginx, Apache)
- Have experienced of Cloud solutions: GCP or AWS
- Good teamwork and reliability.
- Good communication in English with colleagues and other departments in order to understand needs and advise on solutions.
- Have experiences of CI / CD and Agile software development process.
