We are looking for a great JavaScript developer who is proficient with React.js and Vue.js. Your primary focus will be on developing user interface components and implementing them following well-known React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) and Vue.js framework. You will ensure that these components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure including back-end developers and UX/UI designers.
Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.
Responsibilities
- Developing new user-facing features using React.js / Vue.js
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
- Implementing automated testing integrated into development and maintenance workflows
- Staying up-to-date with all recent developments in the JavaScript, React.js and Vue.js space
- Keeping an eye on security updates and issues found with React.js and Vue.js and all project dependencies
- Proposing any upgrades and updates necessary for keeping up with modern security and development best practices

Your Skills and Experience
- At least 3 Years relevant experience
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js / Vue.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js (such as Flux or Redux)/ Vue.js workflows
- Highly proficient with React.js / Vue.js framework and its core principles such as components, reactivity, and the virtual DOM
- Familiarity with the Vue.js ecosystem, including Vue CLI, Vuex, Vue Router, and Nuxt.js
- Good understanding of HTML5 and CSS3,
- Understanding of server-side rendering and its benefits and use cases
- Knowledge of functional programming and object-oriented programming paradigms
- Ability to write efficient, secure, well-documented, and clean JavaScript code
- Familiarity with automated JavaScript testing, specifically testing frameworks such as Jest or Mocha
- Familiarity with newer specifications of EcmaScript
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g., Immutable.js)
- Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
- Experience with both consuming and designing RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tools
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- A knack for benchmarking and optimization
- Familiarity with code versioning tools
