For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer. As such you will be working with a young and ambitious team in Ho Chi Minh City. Our client is an outsourcing company working for mainly Dutch customers.

Founded in 2012, office located in the center of Ho Chi Minh (Da Kao Ward), You will be working with the latest proven technologies in a modern office with an open environment in self-steering teams. They focus on custom web applications based on PHP WordPress.

Our client is a growing company and is looking for a full-time (40 hours per week) Senior DevOps Engineer with at least 3 years of working experience in a DevOps role. 

You will work in an experienced international team to manage highly trafficked websites and applications. Furthermore, you will also be able to contribute your skills, experience and knowledge to other team members. They will use CI/CD pipelines to make sure their software is deployed with the highest quality (validation of coding standards, automation test where needed). They care about code standards and maintainable approach in everything they do. Not just that, they love to help each other to get better. Giving and receiving feedback is something they appreciate at any level in their organization.

- Set up and implement cloud solutions on AWS with Kubernetes 

- Manage multiple high traffic projects (WordPress/ Ruby/ Python and more)

- Setup/manage cloud infrastructure

- DevOps automation (Gitlab CI/CD, Docker, Kubernetes)

- Cloud development (using cloud APIs or cloud services like AWS Lambda)

- implement/manage hosting for large-scale applications 

- Operate in an Agile/Scrum Environment

- Participate in team brainstorming and design sessions

- Communicate well with all team members, non-technical as well as technical

- At least 3 years DevOps experience

- Experience directly working with foreign clients

- Experienced with managing infrastructure in AWS

- Expert experience with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD

- Experience with Puppet or other deployment automatization tools

- Experience rolling out redundant, mission-critical applications in a highly available production environment

- Experience with agile development, continuous integration and automated testing

- Able to handle multiple tasks in multiple projects at the same time

- Able to adapt new workflows

- Careful, highly organized and self-learning attitude

- Ability to make great technical decision in different scenario's /projects

- Transparent in knowledge and communication

- Good soft skills: team player, not afraid to provide feedback to colleagues, etc.

- Available for long term

- Not a 9 to 5 mentality
