Key Relationships:

- External: Service Providers (Google Play Store, Apple App Store, Cloud Providers, Other third party services)
Role purpose: Take part in developing functions in various game projects, mostly online real-time games on mobile platforms for global audience.

Develop and Maintain game server:
- Design, build, run matchmaking system which serves millions of players with 12 servers clustered worldwide.
- Work with other team members to develop the functions of one/many action PvP online game(s)
- Examples include: combat system, clan, chat, leaderboard, ranked battles system…
- Design, develop and maintain game micro services for stability, scalability and high performance.

Research:
- Research new technologies to improve current game products and apply to future projects.
- Recommend ideas to improve qualities of the in-charge game server.

Your Skills and Experience
Essential skills:
Game Back-end Developer:
- 3+years of experience in backend development (Java/Golang/NodeJS)
- Database experience with at least one of the following: Redis/MongoDB/SQL Server
- Experienced with cloud computing (GCP, AWS, Asure, App Engine, Firebase)
- Knowledge in JavaScript, Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge in Microservices/API/Socket.io is a plus
- Good soft skills such as customer-oriented, communication and problem-solving.
Essential Attributes:
- Strong desire for personal career growth, passionate to work
- Hard-working and willing to learn
- Being able to read materials in English
- Good at team-working
