Job Area: Engineering - Customer Engineering

Job Overview:
We are looking for software engineer with demonstrable knowledge and hands-on for Camera, IoT and Linux embedded systems experience.
Major responsibility is to provide direct support to OEMs with the design, development and debug of Qualcomm reference designs software related issues.
Candidate must quickly assimilate onto an existing project, understanding software driver architecture, read technical specifications/requirements, demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities and work closely with external customers to support for customizing and launching their new products.

Minimum Qualifications:
• Understanding of each stage in a Camera image processing pipeline including 3A algorithms (Auto Exposure, Auto White-balance, Auto Focus), demosaic, scaling, noise reduction, etc.
• Experience in Camera performance and power optimization.
• Linux camera sensor driver bring-up.
• Good knowledge of image noise models, local tone mapping, multi-image fusion and color calibration
• Passion for developing the best imaging system possible and getting the most from existing systems
• Programming skills in C and C++
• Good English Communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong software debugging skills on embedded system.
• Knowledge of Embedded Linux Kernel architecture, drivers, and operations.
• Experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Linux kernel, BSP, bootloader, or board bring-up
- Linux device drivers (e.g. NAND, SDIO, LCD, USB)
- Embedded/mobile Linux frameworks
- Communication protocols for peripherals like I2C, I3C, SPI …
• Embedded or wireless system software development and integration on telecommunications devices
• Familiarity with ARM architecture, ARM assembly, emulators/JTAG-debuggers, test equipment such as Oscilloscope/Logic Analyzers and others tool
• Have knowledge on hardware design and can debug hardware problem is an advantage.
• Scripting in Perl, Python, and CMM
• Ability to work as part of a dedicated project team and independently

Education Requirements:
• Required: Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Preferred: Master's, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
