Cutting through complexity, getting to the crux of problems, and knowing how to dodge common pitfalls when designing distributed systems are skills you possess in abundance. And here at Stratavo, we’re looking for someone to join us in Vietnam who’s equally at home getting hands-on as they are leading a team.
Stratavo is a new and rapidly growing tech consultancy based in the UK and about to open a tech-driven center of excellence in Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang.
You’ll be a founding member of our brand new team in Vietnam, joining a business that embraces new ideas and tech to deliver products and services that make life easier and better for our customers. As you will be liasing with colleagues and customers based in the UK and US, you will need to have excellent English language skills.
This senior role calls for technical, design, and programming skills, coupled with leadership and people management abilities. We will look to you to get hands-on when it comes to coding and implementing, but also to provide inspiration and motivation for team members in the Vietnam branch of our business.
Your responsibilities
- Using SOA to develop systems that are closely aligned with business needs
- Maintaining fast, scalable, and efficient software using concepts such as Domain-Driven Design
- Breaking down services into layers, tiers, assemblies, and processes
- Designing systems that use modern cloud services, and frameworks and deliver 100% uptime.

Your Skills and Experience
The role requires
- The determination to take responsibility for all aspects of the infrastructure solutions you build
- The creation of systems that seamlessly integrate with G Suite, Microsoft 365, or other platforms
- Outstanding team leadership and mentoring skills
- A good understanding of Kubernetes and all the major AWS and Azure components that are used to create modern cloud applications
- Programming experience in Bash and other languages such as Python, Java, and PowerShell
- Playing a key role in bid teams, helping to create winning proposals and deliver successful pitch presentations
Your qualifications
This senior role is a high profile opportunity to really make your mark in our new Vietnam-based team. As a result, we are looking for a Solutions Architect with:
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a solutions architect role
- A track record of successful enterprise software development that spans 10 years or more
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
