Job purpose:
We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our information technology capacity and our business objectives by supporting and ensuring the successful completion of analytical, building, testing and deployment tasks of our software product’s features. The successful applicant will serve as the liaison between the executive and IT departments of our company, leveraging the data the IT team extrapolates while also overseeing the selection and implementation of software programs and hardware resources. The ideal candidate for this position is detail-oriented and highly innovative. He or she will also be responsible for translating business needs to IT solutions, and vice versa, with current programs, projects and initiatives in mind

Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and resolve project issues
• Analyze complex business problems and determine an IT solution
• Gather data and analyze business and user needs
• Provide recommendations on hardware and software procurement to support client's business goals
• Coordinate the development of documentation to enable implementation and turnover of the process of system
• Define objectives and scope of business system
• Work closely with managers and end users to determine best IT solution
• Conduct post-project evaluation
• Define configuration specifications and business analysis requirements
• Perform quality assurance
• Help design, document and maintain system processes
• Report on common sources of technical issues or questions and make recommendations to product team
• Communicate key insights and findings to product team
• Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the customer
• Construct workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications
• Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications
• Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures
• Define project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases and elements
• Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
• Communicate with senior people in organizations to find out what they hope to achieve
• Run workshops and training sessions

Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering or similar preferred

Experience:
• 2+ years of experience with coding i.e Python, JavaScript, C#, etc.
• Basic experience in writing SQL queries
• Previous experience in Business / Systems Analysis or Quality Assurance
• Proven experience in eliciting requirements and testing
• Experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions and in data visualization techniques and tools
• Strongknowledge in generating process documentation
• Great analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its use in management decision-making
• Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
• Ability to work independently and with others
• Extremely organized with strong time-management skills

• Strong written and verbal communication skills including technical writing skills

As an IT Business Analyst, you are a strategic problem solver essential to an IT departments success. You will work closely with your business counterparts to identify IT solutions in business functional areas. You will help businesses implement technology solutions in a cost effective way.
An ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in information technology with a minimum of 3 years of experience with computer applications. You must have expert level in MS Office applications, including Project and have excellent written and oral communication skills. You will need to be proficient in data analysis and have experience in programming. You must pass and maintain a background check and have a willingness to travel to client sites.
