We’re looking for a Data Engineer who can find suitable solutions to tough problems. As a Data Engineer, you’ll create and manage our data pipelines and Big data tools, including collecting, storing, processing and analyzing our data and data systems. You know how to work quickly and accurately, using the best solutions to analyze mass data sets, and you know how to get results. You’ll also make this data easily accessible across the company and usable in multiple departments

- Develop and maintain data pipelines that help preparing suitable data for analysis activities of business users from different departments.
- Integrate latest data management and software engineering technologies into existing data platform (Hadoop).
- Collaborate with other teams (Business users, IT teams, IT global team) on requirements and implementation approaches for reaching the project’s goals.
- Recommend different ways to constantly improve data reliability and quality.
- Optimize data processing and monitoring data platform.

Must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics and computer science, applied mathematics, software/computer engineering or other related IT fields.
3+ years of recent experience in data engineering.
- At least an intermediate skill level of English.
- Strong knowledge and experience in one of the programming languages: Python, Scala or Java.
- Strong understanding of Hadoop based analytics (Hive, Impala, HBase, Map Reduce job…).
- Experience with Open Source ETL tools for data integration and distributed data processing such as Spark, Kafka, Nifi or Apache Airflow.

Nice to haves:
- Cloud platform knowledge (Azure, AWS) is a big plus.
- Familiar with Agile work Environment.
