We are looking for Lead Software Developer:

Your will contribute by:

• Using your technical expertise to support the team. This will include a lot of coding, designing, testing and supporting delivery
• Local line manager of a team of software developers (Line responsibilities include communicating direction clearly and doing performance reviews, performance management, skill development for the developers who report to you.)
• Interviewing potential new developers
• Effective communication at both technical and business levels
• Troubleshooting and escalating issues when necessary

Have working knowledge or experience in:

• As a Senior Developer Experience (5 years developing, 3yrs+ as senior)
• Demonstrating stellar software development skills - you have a portfolio of existing code, sites and contributions.
• Managing software developers or demonstrable experience mentoring and providing leadership to other developers - able to guide, teach and do.
• Strong troubleshooting, tracing and debugging skills.
• Mentoring other developers on things like TDD, jUnit, Mocking frameworks, Linux, code review
• Working with requirements-management, backlog grooming and leading the development, review and implementation to technical specifications
• Having a genuine commitment to getting things done
• Utility or CIS/CRM experience is desirable

Technically you will understand and have worked with some (or all):

• Strong Java knowledge
  • Java or Java EE Certified,
  • Advanced knowledge of patterns, core libraries and frameworks
  • Object-Oriented Analysis, Design and Implementation skills
• Demonstrably strong skills in Enterprise Java, including …
  • Java Application Server technologies
  • JSF 2 with Primefaces
  • Java Applets (legacy that we’re converting off of)
  • Java Messaging
  • Spring and Hibernate
  • Working SQL Knowledge
• Comfortable working with legacy back-end and java mid / front tiers
• We use Genero 4GL for some of our high volume back-end processing
• Experienced and comfortable with
  • Eclipse as the main IDE
  • Leading in an Agile environment (we use JIRA)
  • Current Windows experience
  • You know your way around Linux with reasonable scripting skills
