To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion:
- To be responsible for providing technical guidance or solutions
- To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity
- TO ensure process compliance in the assigned module, and participate in technical discussionsorreview
- To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations

1. SUMMARY:
- Around 6 years of experience in IBM Datastage in Unix/Linux platform
- Extensive knowledge in ETL development and support, specifically relating to IBM Data Stage (must)
- Understanding of Insurance Domain is preferable
- Experience in IBM DS 11.x versions
- Good hands-on experience in SQL queries
- Working experience in migration of 11.3 to 11.7
- Good working experience with unix shell scripts
2. DETAILED REQUIREMENTS:
- Assist in platform support for ETL infra including input into platform design pattern to ensure business needs are maintained / met, including activities such as performance tuning and pro-active capacity management
- Maintain the best practices documents and artefacts
- Perform the server patching support activities
- Develop knowledge and understanding of Data Processing in the System and provide continuity support when required
- Assist in feature development based on business priorities
a. Primary skills (The candidate is expected to be Very Good / Good in all the followings):
- Experience in building ETL jobs using IBM DataStage 11.x version
- Should have good knowledge on Join, Entity relationship, Performance tuning
- As the application and database is hosted on Unix/Linux boxes. Good knowledge on Unix commands and configuration
- Experience in TWS Scheduler
- Good hands-on experience in SQL& PL/SQL queries
- Hands on Experience in DB2 databases

b. Secondary skills (The candidate is expected to be Above average / Average in all the following):
- Experience in IBM Infosphere tools like IGC, Operations Console etc
- Experience in migration of 11.3 to 11.7 version for IBM DataStage
