For one of our clients, TOG recruitment is looking for two PHP/WordPress Developers. As such you will be working with a young and ambitious team in Ho Chi Minh City. Our client is an outsourcing company working for mainly Dutch customers.

Founded in 2012, office located in the center of Ho Chi Minh (Da Kao Ward), You will be working with the latest proven technologies in a modern office with an open environment in self-steering teams. They focus on custom web applications based on PHP WordPress. Our client will provide a professional environment which will take you on a journey improving your competencies (soft skills) in communication, collaboration through the agile process and English classes as well as improving your technical skills. Open communication in English is the focus of our client in which you can grow personally as well as professionally. Our client is looking for a full-time WordPress Developer with at least 3 years experience. You will work in an international team of designers and developers with colleagues in Vietnam and the Netherlands. As a WordPress Developer you will work in a team to design and develop interactive websites and applications for our clients. Being a part of a team of WordPress Developers, you will share your knowledge with other team members and learn new skills from them. WordPress development at our client follows modern standards. We implement CI/CD for all our projects, use Bedrock as a boilerplate for our WordPress sites and use Sage for theme development. You will implement beautiful websites, themes and plugins using solid structures and coding standards, which will make your software easy to extend and maintain. Also you will implement and configure valued plugins like Woo commerce, Gravity Forms or Yoast SEO.

If you want to work for our client as a WordPress Developer, we expect you to have the experience with and knowledge of:

• Theme and plugin development for WordPress version 5 or higher
• PHP 7 and the principles of OOP and MVC
• HTML, CSS and JavaScript
• Version management using GIT
• Command line interface, WP-cli

Furthermore, as you will be working in an international organization, your English needs to be at intermediate level.

It is a bonus if you have experience with or some knowledge of:

• React
• Webpack
• Less, SASS
• Git-flow and GitLab-ci
• Docker
• Linux environments
