Purpose

Software Quality Engineer is responsible for participating in our agile teams as a test engineer, you will be responsible for the Quality Assurance of Web-based/ App. Your focus is to assure the entire team embraces a quality mindset and implements best practices to improve team performance in order to deliver high quality products as a result. This person will be involved with the entire product lifecycle – requirements, review and coding, and testing.  You’ll work closely with Project Managers, Dev Op Engineers, Product Owners, team members to collaborate and solve business problems in an agile development environment.

Essential Responsibilities
- Test functionality for each release and communicate found issues to the development team
- Develop and execute test plans and work with other team members to implement the plan.
- Identify bugs, report bugs, prioritize and track issues; report test results and task progress to project/product managers
- Create and execute test cases (Test plan, Test cases/Checklist, Test report).
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and quality
- Help shape our products by providing input on user stories and designs and by giving feedback on usability

Qualifications
 

• At least 2+ years’ experience in a similar role
 

• Experience in testing with Web, API, Android, iOS
 

• Experience in Smarty framework (PHP) is advance
 

• Experience in relational database concepts and SQL queries
 

• Experience using professional software development systems such as Jira, Git and Confluence
 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
 

• Good communication and interpersonal skills
