We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Backend Engineering interested in joining an early-stage venture. In this role, you will build and maintain our product’s backend services, APIs, and deployment, helping the team launch and scale our new health tech application (+web) .Integrate up-and-coming data management and software engineering technologies into existing data structures.

• Develop solutions to concrete user-facing problems and requirements, design and implementation of large software components, systems, and features.
• Build, test, deploy, maintain, and improve software, specifically interfacing with native mobile client applications.
• Manage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables.
• Resolve challenging technical issues.
• Collaborate closely with teammates to grow abilities through technical contributions and mentorship.

Expertise:

• Experience developing software designs for mobile applications or similar, including strong API design and development skills.
• Extensive experience coding in TypeScript (required), Javascript, Python, or similar.
• Solid experience in building on NodeJS
• Solid experience in noSQL and data modelling.
• Experience in software debugging.
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and/or Amazon Web Services, and Docker containers.
• BS degree in computer science or similar; graduate degree a plus.
• 5+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Leadership/Communication:
• Excellent communication skills in English (professional and personal fluency); Vietnamese is a plus.
• Ability to review and provide feedback on the work of other developers.
