Sparx is looking for an experienced, security-minded Systems Operator (SysOp) to manage our physical and cloud-based development infrastructure and environment in a progressive and secure manner.
Responsibilities:
• Develop monitoring & reporting tools to generate data on network and resource usage
• Implementing network and studio security policies
• Configuring and supporting security tools (firewalls, antivirus, and IDS/IPS software)
• Analyzing and establishing security requirements
• Identifying threats and working on steps to defend against them
• Train employees in security awareness/procedures
• Develop and update disaster recovery protocols
• Conducting security audits
• Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks
Yêu cầu công việc
• Knowledge of bash/PowerShell to automate system tasks is required
• Detailed technical knowledge of database and operating system security
• Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
• Thorough understanding of the latest security principles, techniques, and protocols
• Experience in building and maintaining security systems
• Experience with virtualization (VMWare, Hyper-V, AWS)
• Familiarity with web-related technologies (Web applications, Web Services, Service-Oriented Architectures) and of network/web related protocols
• Security and software certification is a plus
• Capability to work with some data management software is a plus.
