We are in search of an experienced, enthusiastic and outgoing Technical Lead to join our Engineering team.

The role:

The Technical Leader will guide a small team of engineers while collaborating closely with the product manager on a product-led mission to achieve product, business and technology goals.

About you:

You are a role model for good engineering practices with well-versed in Agile software development. Nobody but you can be the bridge between business and technology in all your conversations.

Your key tasks and responsibilities:

• Work closely with the product manager to elaborate requirements and encourage engagement from your team to understand the customer needs;
• Design the technical solution in accordance with architecture roadmap and principles;
• Hands-on software development high quality, tested, working software, deployed into production ;
• Troubleshooting, maintenance and optimisation of software (including quality and performance testing);
• Contribute and follow the Go1 architectural and software development guidelines;
• Lead the engineers and working team members from other disciplines to discover, test and develop solutions to achieve product, business and technology goals;
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback on improvement and compliance with acceptance criteria;
• Contribute to the architecture of Go1;

Your core competencies:

• Ability to bridge the gap between business and technology in your conversations
• Interest and ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Fluency in technologies used by Go1
  • Microservice/SOA/Event-driven design principles
  • Knowledge in PHP, NodeJS, Typescript, React
  • Database technologies and design – SQL / Elasticsearch
  • API standards (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)
  • Experience with Event Streaming (e.g. Kafka, Event Hub, Kinesis) is a plus
  • Well versed in agile and modern development best practice
• Logical thinking, analytical problem solving
• Highly collaborative and accountable with a can-do attitude
• Good at English communication
