We are currently looking for an experienced PL SQL and Java Developer within our Telco and Utilities product team. The successful applicant will help us to meet the needs of our customers by taking a hands-on approach to current PL SQL and Java development and projects. As a Software Developer you will be an integral part of our established team in a fast-paced development environment. You will be able to influence direction and recommend best practice, as well as be commercially astute with a forward-thinking attitude to best service the demands of our clients.

Our ideal people will have working knowledge or experience in:

Minimum 3 years of commercial PL SQL and Java experience, preferably with Java 8
Experience in using Oracle including Data Definition Language and SQL performance tuning
Experience with TOAD, SQL Developer.
Working knowledge around JavaEE including EJB, CDI
Good communication skills, both verbal and written to influence and manage change effectively
Working knowledge of front-end technologies: JSF (with PrimeFaces), CSS, HTML, JavaScript
Experience with build and continuous integration tools: Maven, Jenkins, SonarQube
Test Driven Development: JUnit, Mockito
Source Control Tools: GIT, Stash, Source Tree
Application Servers: JBoss primarily and Glassfish (preferred)
Experience in Agile environment and working knowledge of SDLC

Understand: across some (or all):

Domain experience in Utilities or Telecommunications preferable
Large scale integration projects and performance
Experience with continuous delivery and integration
