VCSC is an entrepreneurial minded firm that rewards individuals who drive ideas and grow our business. Management has a positive “get the job done” philosophy. The sales team currently includes ten professionals, including foreign and Vietnamese individuals.

We are seeking a Data Engineer / Data Analyst who is a qualified candidate to join our team:

• Knowledge and experience in building data pipeline, data-lake, data-warehouse, data-mining and related tools.
• Design, build and administer the Datawarehouse system, the company's reporting system, specifically:
• Understand data structure from source, need to perform analysis and database design, as a foundation for Data engineer to organize data into Datawarehouse, ensure logic and consistency with existing data in Datawarehouse.
• Build input data check rule sets based on business requirements and settings from the system to ensure data checking and data cleaning.
• Build a data dictionary to record data fields from the source, ensure science, logic and consistency of data
• Build and maintain datasets, instruct related departments to use datasets in data analysis.
• Build data models and business models to serve the goals required by the management
• Build/Support to build a stock trading system based on data and create high investment efficiency
• Deliver data-driven trading products online for customers
• Support other jobs for online product development for retail customers

• At least 2 years of experience in data mining management
• Having participated in/lead projects on data mining in the securities industry, or worked for a securities brokerage company, or a securities data company (for example: FiinGroup, FiinTrade, Stoxplus, Fireant, Vietstock, CafeF, Fialda, Stockbiz, Tradingview, ...)
• Graduated from a university or higher, preference is given to candidates with specialized training in IT, Finance or with a background in Mathematics.
• Knowledge of financial analysis and technical analysis is an advantage
• Good skills in data mining, good teamwork.
• Have proficient skills in designing and organizing Datawarehouse's database according to international standard model
• Basic coding and data analysis tools to handle predictive models
• Skills in using visualizer tools to transform data into graphics
• Programming skills in Python, pandas, R or similar
• Data pine-line construction skills and understanding of data-pipeline tools.
• Experience working with databases such as Oracle Database, Ms Sql Server...
• Experience with systems like Power BI, Tableau is an advantage
• Have a professional working attitude and high discipline.
