About the role:
You’ll join one of our small but growing teams of developers with diverse backgrounds building technology to help people access learning around the world. You will work with experienced Technical Leads and Senior Developers that help you to deliver software solutions, both front-end and back-end while investing in your growth as a developer. You will talk through problems with Product Managers who represent your customers to find out why your solutions are needed and how they help learning.

Day to day, your responsibilities will include:

-          Writing, testing, building and deploying high-quality software.

-          Perform code reviews, write tests and troubleshoot software issues.

-          Collaborate with team members to problem solve and design solutions.

-          Participate in, and contribute to, the team's agile processes.

Must-haves:

-          A growth mindset: you need to be passionate about learning.

-          2+ years of experience in a software development role.

-          Proficiency of at least one of our core development platforms: NodeJS, PHP, React/Typescript.

-          An understanding of how to test software, from unit testing to system testing.

-          Good at written and verbal communication in English

Nice-to-haves:

-          Experience in SaaS or product development.

-          Experience with Azure, Service-Oriented Architectures, API development or microservices.
