About Fika:
Fika is Vietnam's fastest-growing AI social & dating app with 700,000 installs since its soft launch in November 2021. Fika’s founders, Denise Sandquist (CEO) & Oscar Xing Luo (CTO) are from Sweden and the rest of the team are Vietnamese with various impressive backgrounds. The company culture is young, dynamic and ambitious, with the goal set to become Vietnam’s #1 dating app in 2021, before expanding rapidly into Southeast Asia.

The Position:
You will be a member of a high-performing team accountable for developing and maintaining Fika Mobile Application, powered by Flutter, Python, Golang on AWS, and MongoDB. As a Junior DevOps Engineer, you will, among other things, contribute to the design of Fika’s infrastructure to run across different regions and scale to millions of users.

Responsibilities:
● Managing the Fika’s AWS infrastructure, ensuring the infrastructure has enough capacity to handle the volume of traffic.
● Applying best practices into the infrastructure design to balance between scale vs cost.
● Develop infrastructure automation using the Infra-As-Code principle. Responsible for testing your own code to ensure the integrity of the IasC repo.
● Support the release pipeline by developing CI/CD workflow.

● Knowledge on AWS Ecosystem, especially EKS, EC2, S3, CloudFront, IAM.
● Knowledge on monitoring & scaling MongoDB.
● Knowledge with Prometheus ecosystem for monitoring & observability.
● Ability to write Terraform for managing complex environments.
● Ability to write scripts using one of the following languages: Bash / Python
● Open-minded, hard-working, ambitious, and eager to learn new things.

A plus if you have:
● 1+ years of AWS experience
● Experience working in Sprints and with the Agile process
