JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer who is interested in Katalon's SaaS products. You will be an acting team leader in the Katalon Recorder which has 500,000+ installations worldwide. Your solutions will be recognized contributions to the automation testing community. To make it happen, your responsibilities shall be:

• Design technical solutions, review code, initiate code refactoring initiatives
• Contribute to Katalon SaaS Platform to optimize operation and maximize business value
• Take initiative to propose ideas and solutions that solve business problems
• Manage and control timeline, progress of tasks.
• Support and training for other engineers in the team.
• Align with the Product Manager to achieve the product objectives.

Key Qualifications:

• Expertise with Javascript and one of its related technologies such as Nodejs, Typescript;
• Hands-on experience in OOP and design patterns;
• Experience with leading a team of 2 - 3 junior developers;
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities;
• Good command of English;

Bonus Points:

• Experience with testing frameworks such as Jasmine, Selenium WebDriver, Puppeteer;
• Experience in Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban,…);
• Experience building and maintaining browser extensions;
• Good communication skills with the product team;
• Good reporting skills.
