In response to COVID-19, we have partnered with government bodies and healthcare organizations worldwide to bring the fight to COVID. We are driving the rollout of vaccine programs at scale internationally and playing our part in helping the world reopen on schedule.

Day to Day

• Write and review code for automated tests or tools from the sprint backlog inline with quality assistance guild best practices.
• Assist in driving squad sprint execution to ensure timelines are met without compromising on quality.
• Anticipate and communicate blockers or delays for their work (or their squads) before they require escalation.

Technical Duties

• Consistently write production-ready test code easily understood by other software development engineers, quality engineers, and accounts for edge cases and errors.
• Identify, develop, and innovate new automation approaches to continually improve quality engineering processes and efficiency.
• Provide technical advice and weigh in on technical discussions and decisions that impact their team.
• Ensure their commitments are realistic, understand their priority and urgency, and deliver upon them accordingly.

Communication & Leadership Duties

• Communicate within your team in an effective, clear, concise manner in both written and verbal form on technical and non-technical subjects.
• Help their fellow team members overcome obstacles, resolve blockers, and complete work tasks.
• Mentor more junior teammates in an open, respectful, flexible, and empathetic manner.

• Have a team-player mentality, be quick on their feet, agile, and not afraid to speak up or voice their opinion.
• Demonstrate ability to solve technical problems and implement innovative solutions.
• Demonstrate experience using BDD framework - Specflow, Cucumber, Geb, or similar ones.
• Have experience working with GraphQL.
• Experience with the mobile testing framework is an added bonus.
• Experience with performance testing tools, such as Gatling, JMeter, Locust, is an added bonus.
• Experience with the CI/CD environments and tools, such as CircleCI, Jenkins, is an added bonus.
• Knowledge of Cloud-based architecture is an added bonus.

Minimum Qualifications

• Must have at least 3 years of writing UI and API tests.
• Must have at least 2 years of commercial experience working with BDD Frameworks for API/Selenium.
• Must have at least 2 years working with agile development methodologies.
• Be able to communicate in English (both oral and written).
