Serdao is looking for a senior fullstack Java/Angular developer with a minimum of 3 years experience in Java. The project is to work on a geolocation web application and consists of:

• Migrating a legacy GWT application to Angular;
• Developing the backend based on a micro-services architecture;
• Adding new features to the frontend;

The client is a French company who you will be working closely with. Using the Scrum methodology, you will be also given the opportunity to talk directly and daily with a French team

1. Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent from a university.
• At least 4 years of professional experience in Java
• Strong communication skills in either English or French.
• Proficient in Java development.
• Experience with building micro-services / RESTful services (Spring, Micronaut …)
• Familiar with unit testing, using unit test frameworks, and mocking.
• Experience with managing code using distributed version control (git, GitHub, GitLab…).
• Knowledge of software development using Agile methodology.
• Willing to follow good practices and capable of reviewing other dev’s code.

2. Nice to have

• Good understanding of web frontend technologies such as JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experienced in building multi-pages Angular applications.
• Familiar with using or working on a Linux machine.
• Experience with DMBS (MySQL or any others).
• Experience with GWT.
