Our software helps our customers seamlessly onboard, mobilise and pay their workforce. Onboarding is time consuming, rostering is tricky and payroll is complex. That's why we go to great lengths to make life easier for our customers and we're looking for programmers who attach to that mission. We are looking for a full time Backend PHP Engineer to join our team.
Our tech stack:
- Laravel, PHP, PHPUnit
- MySQL
- VueJs, React Native, Storybook, Cypress, Jest
- RESTful APIs
- Supporting Services
- AWS (EC2, Aurora, Elasticache, WAF, ALBs, ECS, Lambda, Elasticsearch, etc.)
As a backend engineer you will:
- Design & build high quality APIs that serve both the front-end and our integration partners goals
- Work as part of small focused teams that deliver projects distraction free
- Write well tested code
- Help design great SQL table structures and ensure the APIs are performant
- Help design the PHP code architecture and guide other engineers on how best to structure their code
- Help design the architecture of the broader system including splitting off services when it makes sense to
- Work with the front-end when needed
