To reinvent old industry with technology’s power, Raksul is delivering products to lots of Japanese customers every day with global offices in Japan, Vietnam and India. From incubation and growth products like MVP to core business like operation optimization and rebuilding old systems, we’ve developed various products based on e-commerce platform.

Mission
This position’s main mission is to develop long term impact product and lead the team with your high technical and product ownership
Main technology
- Ruby on Rails or TypeScript for backend – depending on the projects
- Vue.js, Typescript for frontend
- AWS for infrastructure
Responsibility
- Demonstrate product ownership with product managers and business teams
- Guarantee the products quality, high availability, and high throughput for long term business impact and customers experience
- Work DevOps of various services, and partner solutions
- Provide guidance and mentoring to junior and new members

Basic Qualification
- Ability to discuss in English with global members
- Experience in guiding junior members
- Experience in defining service issues, technical issues, team’s issues and solving them
- Experience in developing Linux and web-based application in multiple frameworks (fluent in at least 2 of the following: Laravel, CakePHP, Symfony, Ruby on Rails, Django, etc.)
- Experience in designing and tuning complex relational database such as MySQL, PostgreSQL
- Experience in designing and implementing asynchronous process using event streaming service such as Kafka
Preferred Experience
- Experience in Ruby
- Experience in improving legacy code/system and working with REST API, and GraphQL
- Experience in pair programming and/or mob programming
- Experience in working with cloud computing such as AWS

To change the world by reinventing legacy industry structures with the power of the internet, it is now operating three sharing platforms in printing, advertising and logistics.
Raksul’s biggest platform, raksul.com, is an online printing e-commerce service released in 2013, and it has over 1 million registered users in Japan. To further accelerate the growth of this service, many projects are in the pipeline, including the launching of brand new printing product categories such as corporate gift, the rebuilding and strengthening of the backend infrastructure, the releasing of new service features such as an online design software and an automated printing data checking system, etc.
Due to the rapid product expansion, Raksul is going to set up a new entity in Vietnam and grow its team of local engineering talents.
