SUMMARY
The ideal candidate should demonstrable proven experience in complex distributed application data engineering and work with multi-technology tools/engines to detailed analysis of data and business. This individual will work closely with the product, several application developments teams, testing teams, business analysis teams and clients with exceptional quality, communication and leadership following established standards and guidelines. The candidate should be willing to learn new and upskill as required.
As a senior database engineer, you will be primarily responsible for analyzing different data streams, engineer data exports and imports, build ETL/ELT streams, support various data needs and end to end support for all data needs.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data requirement analysis, scope, and documentation
- Expertise in working with several database technologies like MySQL, Oracle, snowflake and Db2
- Proven experience in Banking domain.
- Should have extensive hands-on various data preparation techniques and with multi-technology database architecture.
- Strong analytical and problem - solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication, team building, and relationship building skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot inconsistencies in the data and work with teams to educate the same
- Ability to work in a global collaborative team environment.
- Solid understanding of IT systems, practices, and functional units

- Python, shell scripting and Java.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 8+ years of related technical experience
- Has strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Atlassian tools JIRA
- Experience with Agile/Scrum Framework
- Able to proactively initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, written and communication skills for working with US native speaker is preferred
