Responsibilities:

• Work cross-functionally with researching, designing, applying to develop AI/ML product, deploying models to deliver great user experiences.
• Analyze feedback from customers to improve the products.
• Demonstrated strong oral and written communication that enables you to explain complex. concepts to both technical and non-technical members of the team. 
• Ability to effectively communicate technical topics to product owners, stakeholders, and other team members.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring.
• Review code, technical documentation and coding standards.
• Research and suggest new products, applications, design patterns and protocols.
• Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) best practices.

You will be successful with AltSource if you have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related major, with at least 3 years of experience.
• Proven in a Machine Learning or AI Engineer or similar roles.
• Proficient in English and ability to work with U.S. and Japan team members.
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics, and algorithm.
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture.
• Familiarity with Kafka, Spark, and SQL.
• Ability to write robust code in one of these programming languages, including Python, Java, and C++.
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like Keras and PyTorch and libraries like scikit-learn.
• Familiar with Agile methodology.
• Proactive, good at time management and can work without mentorship, willing to research, learn new things and share.
• Hands on experience with Amazon Web Services and/or Azure AI/ML stacks.
