Based in New Zealand and expanded into the US, Hectre is a SaaS company that helps fruit growers and packers produce and market more quality fruit, with less environmental impact.  Formed in 2016, we are now a world-leading fruit tech company and our products are being used in 11 countries. 

After recently raising $3.5mil, we are expanding further, have an ambitious development plan and we're looking for talents like you to join us as we turn that plan into reality. We are open to remote team members and will open our office in Hanoi by early 2022. Join us if you're a Frontend Engineer that can

• Write robust and quality code in Typescript/Javascript for ReactJs
• Set best coding standards and practices and drive excellence in the team
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of your projects
• Work with our designer to produce the best UX experience
• Ownership of the front end project and collaboration with team members working on supporting/related projects
• Guide and mentor other members of the development team
• Share your ideas and participate in group discussions
• Assist with our customers’ inquiries and challenges

• Work remotely 100% until we open our office in Hanoi in early 2022 and up to 3 days/week once the office is all set up!

• 2+ years of experience with React
• Good communication in English (verbal & written)
• Experience with Typescript, state management, and package managers and bundlers
• Experience in building, maintaining, and upgrading application code
• Previous experience working with CI/CD tools
• Previous experience in a strong test culture with the help of Jest and Enzyme
• Overall experience in web app development and a passion for learning new technologies
• You are independent and take responsibility for the quality of your code
• You believe in creating robust processes to minimize downtime and rework
• A committed can-do attitude, and a problem-solving mentality. You’re always looking to learn and improve, to expand your skillset
• The ability to work well in a team environment: you know how to communicate, how to push back, how to share your opinion, and follow through on your commitments
  
  Bonus Skills/Nice To Haves:
• Experience with Firebase (real-time database, Cloud Functions, remote config, etc.)
• Previous experience with internationalization, log & monitoring, Cypress, StoryBook, OpenApi, and OAuth2 authentication
