The main responsibilities of the IT Technician include:  

• Set up accounts and workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
• Make sure IT inventory is always up to date with accurate information
• Check computer hardware (laptops, HDD, mouses, keyboards, headsets, webcams, etc.) to ensure the functionality
• Install and configure appropriate hardware and software components to ensure usability
• Ensure the security of client and server computers by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software
• Provide orientation and guidance to users on how to operate new software and computer equipment
• Maintain local networks and servers in ways that optimize performance, ensure availability and security
• Maintain O365, Azure cloud environment and dockerized containers in ways that optimize performance and cost
• Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance to servers and workstations without deterring others from completing their work
• Ensure the servers/applications are monitored properly across the whole delivery organization and alerts are set up for necessary actions to address the problems ASAP
• Conduct frequent backup operations
• Test and evaluate new hardware and software before full-scale installation
• Identify computer or network equipment shortages and place orders when necessary
• Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and IT-related problems in a timely manner
• Providing support to users and being the first point of contact for error reporting
• Possess a demonstrable knowledge of software development, deployment, system administration, and security, and have hands-on experience with enterprise applications, platform services, infrastructure architecture, and automation; to understand the exact needs of servers/infra components and requirements, and make certain that overall system performance meets client expectations
• Maintain and update technical documentation regularly

Other tasks
• Work closely with IT and Application Management Engineers to assist both internal and external clients.
• Provide periodic environment reviews and suggestions for enhancement of services or resiliency of environments
• Take initiative in improving on reporting, processes, workflow and client outcomes
• Study and share new techniques, practice, tools and share for other team members

Yêu cầu công việc

• Bachelor of IT, Computer Science or relevant field
• Hard-working, high sense of responsibility
• Knowledgeable of Windows Server services (AD,DNS,DHCP,GPM), Ubuntu, MacOSX
• IT-related Certification or similar industry certification/qualification is a plus
• Experience with SCCM, O365, DPM and MECM is highly regarded
• Experience in automation engineering is a plus
• Experience working in a customer support environment - phone, email, chat support
• Good customer service skills with the ability to effectively deal with customer inquiries within a timely manner
• Good communication skills (in English and Vietnamese). Be able to consult the users with the best possible solution.

• The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
