One main focus of Bosch Automotive Steering R&D activities is using specific software to connect components and create complete systems. Today, Automotive Steering already generates around 60 percent of its sales with electric steering systems. A compact, locally developed, and particularly inexpensive steering for cars for Asian markets shows that the company offers more than just solutions for premium vehicles. The team is responsible for software development & testing for Automotive Steering system. As an Embedded Software Test Engineer, you will play a crucial part of team to contribute to these activities:

• Perform Software Component Integration Testing for Electric Power Steering (EPS) for Automotive
• Carry out testing the interactions between software components
• Analyze and verify requirements, design, implement, execute test cases, detect and examine failure & bugs report
• Implement debugging of embedded software
• Communicate issues with technical leader thoroughly
• Analyze and report test results to various foreign stakeholders (from Japan, China, Europe, North America,...)
• Co-ordinate team activities, and handle day-to-day work efficiently and independently

Must have:

• B.S of Mechatronic Engineering, Electronic and Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or related major
• Hands-on experience in Embedded Software Testing. Fresh graduate with good knowledge can apply
• Software testing skills & software testing techniques
• Strong in C programming for Embedded Software, compiler, make file. Understand C compiler/post-build concepts
• Good at logical thinking & problem solving skills
• Have enthusiasm for learning new technologies. Ability to self-learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Be able to communicate in English clearly
• Have Japanese & Chinese skills are a plus

Nice to have:

• Scripting programming language (such as: Python, Perl...)
• Micro-controller/ sensor/ IO/ Serial knowledge
• Have experience in debugging, Microsoft Visual Studio
• Knowledge of Automotive domain, automotive communication protocol (CAN, Flexray), Autosar, Matlab/Simulink, dSPACE tool chain like TargetLink
