RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manually identify and report bugs early.
• Fully understand all of the product requirements and technical implementations of all of their apps, services, and tools.
• Report bugs clearly with all the relevant information to make them easier to fix.
• Maintain test cases such that they have good test coverage, are informative, and are easy to execute.
• Analyze and systematically approach bugs reported, always coming up with practical short term and long term process improvements to avoid them.
• Create a test case, execute it then do the regression.
• Identify things that can go wrong early but also quickly investigate bugs reported in production.
• Work closely with other engineers, products, data scientists, operations.

For Senior/lead SDET (Dev in test) position:

• Execute manual tests, create a test case, test plan, checklist, ...
• Create REST/GraphQL based web services and APIs for consumption by mobile and web for
  distributed B2B platform.
• Work with the engineering team to explore and create new design/architectures geared towards scale and performance 
• Code, test, and operate NodeJS-based services to maintain our high development standards.
• Contribute to a future-ready, high-quality, and performance code base.
• Engage in service capacity and demand planning, software performance analysis, tuning and optimization.
• Work with cross-functional product and engineering teams to define and prototype feature specifications.
• Work closely with the infrastructure team in building and scaling back-end services as well as performing root cause analysis investigations.
• Design, build, analyze and fix large-scale systems

REQUIREMENT

• Pay attention to detail, expect high quality, and care about user experience.
• Develop automated testing frameworks/ testing suites.
• Should have coding experience and hands-on experience with automation (Web, Mobile app and API automation).
• Knowledge of tools such as Katalon, Postman, JMeter and TestComplete etc.
• Have deep knowledge of web services and mobile applications.
• Good team player, have an excellent work ethic and have solid technical communication skills (Indonesian and English).
• Meticulous in following processes and highly organized.
• Fast adapt, fast learner.
• Have experience in all kinds of development, testing, and deployment tools.
• Experience in agile development process and applications such as Trello and JIRA.
• Engineering/Computer/IT degree with 2 years of diverse software development experience and teams.

For Senior/lead SDET (Dev in test) position:

• Experience with Node.JS, TypeScript extensions experience.
• CI/CD, Typescript.
• Grasp of Docker and Kubernetes fundamentals. 
• NoSQL databases such as MongoDB or CouchDB, Web services, SOA patterns.
• REST APIs or GraphQL.
• Experience with Windows, AWS.
• Good unit testing.
• OpenAPI and GraphQL specifications.
• Microservices systems, testing them.
• Building systems with high data protection requirements, anonymous data, data encryption. 

Nice to have:

• Have some experience in coding, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting with a programming language, especially in Python, Node JS.
• Understanding of Java, Python, SQL, and JSON.
• Have good knowledge of automated tests, including writing test scripts.
• Have experience on CI/CD, including the tools and the implementation.

• Working hours: From 9AM - 6PM, Monday to Friday.

  • HN: 13th floor, TTC Building, 19 Duy Tan Street, Dich Vong Hau Ward, Cau Giay District .
  • DN: 35 Thai Phien street, Phuoc Ninh Ward, Hai Chau District, Da Nang city. 
  • Remotely with Senior/lead SDET (Dev in test) position.
