The QA Engineer will participate in the hands-on test creation and automated execution, analysis and reporting of testing activities for different layers of the application; creation or improvement of internal tools and test frameworks. This role will work with the test team to develop testing strategies and devise test plans in order to ensure that the application meets business functional and non-functional requirements with maintaining the highest quality standards.

• Analyze product requirements and specifications
• Ensure that testing activities are conducted in accordance to the testing strategy and plan
• Implement and contributes to automation/performance test strategies
• Define requirements for test data environments
• Define or contributes to test effort estimation based on experience, tools and historical data
• Create test data, writes and executes test cases/scripts. Analyses test results, document issues, and retests corrections to ensure that problems are resolved
• Ensure the timely reporting and classification of defects

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or closely related field
• EXPERIENCED ROLE – 3 to 4 years of hands-on experience in test automation for mobile and web applications 
• LEAD ROLE 5+ years of hands on experience in test automation for mobile and web applications 
• Good knowledge of SQL - scripting and database structure
• Experience with industry standard test tools and testing frameworks (e.g., Appium Selenium, UFT).
• Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle
• Experience with planning and executing testing across all layers
• Knowledge of testing processes and defect tracking 
• Proactively, initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members
• A desire to learn, grow, and enjoy the responsibility and accountability that comes with high levels of ownership and autonomy
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Experience in a startup working environment is a plus
