The Data Engineer will work along with team members and customers and report directly to the project manager. 

• Design, develop and maintain new data pipeline architecture to support multiple purposes from Analytics, Data Warehouse.
• Identify, review, and re-design data infrastructure to improve data acquisition, data processing, and data visualization processes.
• Manipulate and analyze complex data sets on different and data sources (databases, data marts, change capture, backup,…) to meet business requirements.
• Design and build analytics tools to provide real-time and non-real-time insights into customers’ origination, operation, and systems executions.

What you bring to the team:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical field
• Have 1+ year of experience as a Data Engineer or Software Engineer
• At least 1+ year backend development experience with either Java/Scala/Python.
• SQL and NoSQL Database design, optimization, and operational skills
• Good knowledge of Kafka internals, Kafka ecosystem
• Experience building data pipeline and cluster optimization via PySpark, Pandas
• Experience using data engineering tools such as Databricks, SageMaker, Nifi, Airflow
• Having experience with Cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP,…) / Machine Learning and Data Modeling are a big plus.
• Having experience with AWS services such as Glue, EMR, Athena, Redshift, Kinesis or SageMaker are a big plus.
• Strong problem solving skills, including the ability to analyze complex problems and create well documented solutions.
• English communication skills, verbal and written.
