Job Summary

As a Software Engineer, you’ll support the success of the company’s newest upcoming products. Being a part of our rapidly growing team, you’ll have exposure to a number of both mature and emerging products; 

The role will work cross-functionally with engineering, product and business teams to develop top notch user experiences. As a Software Engineer at GeoComply, you have chances to take project ownership, improve your design background and learn to communicate with various stakeholders to execute your plans. You can become someone who can speak on the impact your work had on products and users.

What You Will Be Doing

• Consistently write clean, readable code with repeatable high quality results. 
• Analyze requirements, estimate implementation; code reviews; document solutions. 
• Develop the ability to convert business level requirements into technical specifications.
• Assist Quality Assurance Teams in preparing unit tests and checking software deliverables.
• Follow the best practices and process established in the team. 
• Understand the company's vision, goals and strategy. Actively contribute to the achievement of the goals and execution of the company’s strategy.

About You

• 2 or more years of experience in a similar role. 
• Extensive experience with within a service-oriented-architecture environment. 
• Experience in working in and adhering to short, agile, iterative development cycles. 
• Great with version control systems such as Git and continuous integrations such as Jenkins. 
• Experience developing in PHP Laravel is a plus. 
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Good written and spoken technical English.
• Ability to work with distributed teams and occasional international travel.
• A true team player with great communication and interpersonal skills.
• General knowledge in Golang, Bash Scripting, Python, PHP, MySQL and MongoDB is a plus.
