- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship products.
- Work closely with product & design teams to clarify product requirements and define user experience.
- Provide architecture design documents and guidance to development teams.
- Lead the effort in designing and optimizing engineering processes for development, testing, monitoring and maintenance of Fossil products.
- Lead the effort in designing and developing internal tools to boost team productivity and improve product quality.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve the products.
- Coach other junior team members to help them reach their maximum potential.
- Lead R&D projects and build proof-of-concept demos.

Must have
- B.S. or B.A. degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related fields.
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Strong knowledge of:
- Programming languages: Java, Kotlin AND/OR Swift.
- Software development life-cycle: Agile, Scrum
- Software design patterns: MVP, MVVM, VIPER
- SCM: Git.
- Very strong problem solving with in-depth system knowledge of iOS & Android platforms.
- Self-motivated, logical thinking, and a strong desire to build high-quality applications.
- Ability to work effectively in a professional manner with technology staff, management staff, business stakeholders, and others outside the organization.
- Good leadership and effective communication in both verbal and nonverbal.
- Strong English communication skills.
Nice to have
- Experienced in working with smartwatches or other Bluetooth connected devices.
- Familiar with release management tools on AppStore, PlayStore.
- Hand-on experience with Flutter or ReactNative.
- Experience working with international teams.
