To join our dynamic team in Viet Nam, we are currently looking for Database Administrator (one of PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL) the below role:

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Your tasks:

• Proven working experience as a Database administrator (at least one of Oracle, MySQL, SQL, PostgreSQL etc.) for on-premises and cloud database services.
• Design and implement database architecture in accordance to end user information, needs and views
• Build database systems.
• Define users and enable data distribution to the right user, in appropriate format and timely manner
• Perform database auditing, optimizing performance of Database systems.
• Perform operational DBA duties in a complex environment (patching, environments cloning, database cloning, database upgrades, application upgrades, implementing backup and monitoring procedures).
• Minimize database downtime and manage parameters to provide fast query responses
• Determine, enforce and document database policies, procedures and standards

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Must have

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience designing and managing Database systems at least one of MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL or PostGreSQL.
• Database migration experience
• Hands-on experience with database standards and end-user applications 
• Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery and integrity
• Familiar with database design, documentation and coding
• Database assessment, planning and execute migration databases to cloud database services.

Nice to have

• Any DBA/Cloud certifications as a plus
• Strong communication skills in written & spoken English. French is a plus
• Ability to analyze and optimize performance of Database systems.
• Ability to analyze and resolve difficult technical issues
